There are at least two men that John Kricfalusi gets a boner for. One is actor Kirk Douglas. The other is Animation director Bob Clampett. Neither are kept a secret as JohnK himself will profess his love for Kirk's rippling back muscles, or give his visage exposure in his cartoons and on multiple characters, even to the detriment of that cartoon]. Or liberal use of Clampett's characters in music videos he has done. Not to mention the stalking of his favourite animation director [ironic as he seems less than please to have Ren and Stimpy appreciators* on his website, let alone his front lawn]. But nevermind all the politics. I made this for Mr. Krickfalusi.It's obviously not done with menace, and does not include his current girlfriend in it at all. So please, no deranged rants from anyone, especially from JohnK's Ex-wife. And without further ado [I don't do ado, no ado do I do, to do ado is too much doo-doo ©crsP], I present to you John Kricfalusi and Bob Clampett's daughter - JohnBob!
I might do one for you if you have access to a link of yourself and the person you want to have a child with. Try to take or use a photo of you that matches the pose of your beau - i.e. if they are facing slightly left, do the same. I will provide a small version of the results for free [about the size of the preview here, maybe larger], but if you want large, then we could make a deal. PCUnfunny, I was going to explain more but because I had so many unexpected comments, I had to summarise. But I was making a point that of which, Vincent Waller, realising he was losing his piss-poor argument that 'Ryan Khatam was attacking girls' expanded his lies to include those who found Ryan's comic funny as part of Ryan's alleged 'gang'. At that time I had only posted my thoughts on the comic and was slightly miffed at the allegation. One that he repeated on other websites. It is quite obvious now that he is not one to see reason, but only wishes to 'win' a discussion by lying, threatening, and generally being a boring guy. But I thought reason I could. And since it was, at the time, myself, JJhunsecker, and Bob Camp were the only ones who came into support of the comic [as opposed to their personal views on the people involved], I thought that maybe he would see reason that his lie encapsulate Bob Camp into the proceeding, and he might possibly stop his fictitious ramblings. If you read Bob Camp's comment, it is similar in nature to mine in pointing out what technical aspects we liked and made the comic work as hilarious as it was.
Prunesquallor may [undeservedly] not show any respect towards me, but I knew he wouldn't say anything against Bob Camp. Even if he had issues with him, because Prunesquallor is a conniving industry groveller. For proof, read what he said to those in support of the comic in the comment section. Go to their site and check out the bum-chummery he leaves on their posts. It's like Hilary Clinton, who's spent many months bad mouthing Barack Obama, but now she got her arse kicked, she wants to be his vice president. Trying to completely forget her previous smear campaign. Because neither Hillary nor Prunesquallor, has anyone's best interest but their own. Both will step on whoever to get where they want. Both are completely insincere in their approach.

After hearing what happened through David. I did indeed agree that my good friend John was being an asshole when he hurt Ryan's feelings, while putting David in the bad spot of wanting to defend his friend but not being able to sort out how to do that. I can Imagine how hard that was on both of them.
I only wish that Ryan would have given me the complete story right away, rather than giving it to me in drips and drabs. Making me guess what happened. I think had I been given the full story upfront we wouldn't have had nearly the dust up we had.

Hi Vincent,I wouldn't call this post an "attack" ok yes pretty cheeky, and what I was put off is how vicious you seem in response, not by the fact you are responding to the post,if you did it in a humorous way that made fun of Crsp-id be all for it,and as you said it's just a blog with a few people visiting, so I dont know why you would get so angry over it,I would have thought being a working professional you were above that kind of thing.You are probably different in real life,and could be a friendly person and might just use the internet to let off some steam,I just don't know.
And the thing I have read a lot is that John.K treats the people that work for him like dirt, at first I thought it was just other people being jealous, but it came up again and again, which IF it is true, I don't think employers should or have the right to act like that, and John.K with the talent he has should know better.And if it isn't true why would a bunch of people all say the same thing? John.K makes good cartoons so why would a group of people conspire together to make up lies? Again Im going off what I have read, I dont live in LA, so my views aren't set in stone, im open minded about things like this and just always just want to find out the truth about things.I would actually be relieved to find out Spumco is not like that.I obviously wouldn't have read about these things if I wasn't a fan.

PS. if Kricfalusi is as constantly abusive as David Gemmil says he is and you are defending him no matter what just to advance your career, that is really spineless and machiavellian.
First, John is one of my friends. I'm not defending him to advance my career. My career is doing just fine. I don't think many of the people that have worked with John regret working with him. I doubt they'd go back and change it if they could. He can be a seriously hard task master and he can be very blunt. There were times when he was going over my drawings that I would think to myself "You say one more thing and I'm going to knock you off that chair" But what I found was that after telling me all the things that were wrong with my drawings he would then show me what was right, and how to make the drawing better. I found him to be one of the best teachers out there. Willing to show you over and over again until you get it. Sometime during production that task can be very frustrating. I have been on both sides of that equation. It is really hard after telling someone how to do something the third or fourth time when you have deadlines looming over your shoulder not to be short with them. Many times I have just taken whatever it was and done it myself. In the production of a show you don't always have time to do that. It can be maddening. I don't know a show runner (I've worked with a few)that hasn't through frustration with trying to get things done the way the feel they need to be done, hurt someones feeling. A few someones in fact.
Some show runners are more socially adept than others. I think John has gotten much better over the years.
I think most of the people that worked for John came a away better cartoonist, stronger draftsmen and
better storytellers because of it.
why do animators say he is kind of nasty ? Is it because he is a bit too blunt at times and some animators being artists are overly sensitive to criticism ?
Ren and Stimpy is at heart a good natured and humourous show, and I was kind of perplexed from what I read from some LA animators--basically saying that that a supposedly villainous character made it,but it obviously sounds like it isn't true.
If he is just a little socially inept and truly harbors no malevolence towards his employees,that is really good to hear.You shouldnt bother defending him on blogs because it kind of comes off as if youre covering up something, rather than looking out out a friend who is a bit rough around the edges.The truth in these matters always comes out in the end so I wouldnt get so angry or concern yourself over what anyone says if it isnt true.

True on many fronts. Answering slanderous attacks on a blog that 10 people read is pretty much a waste of my time but A.)I have a fairly short fuse when someone goes out their way to kick my cage. B.)If slanderous attacks keeps even one young artist from working with John, that is one more slice of humor and talent that might not reach their full potential. That robs future entertainment from me and you.
Just check his site for the hours of lessons that he has taken the time to compile. Anyone can use those. You don't have to agree with his opinions about anything beyond how to make a good cartoon. You never even have to meet the man to glean years of knowledge from the lessons on his site.
During Ren and Stimpy, between seasons he didn't lay off his crews like every other studio did back then. He paid us to study cartoons, to learn how to draw better. To dissect story lines, to make us better story tellers. That would have been pocketed vacation money to most other studio heads.
Then After the first go around of Ren and Stimpy John could have walked away with a boat load of money. Not SpongeBob boat load, but a good chunk. Enough that he wouldn't have had to worry about work for years.
But instead he funneled the money back into the studio. Keeping what was left of his crew employed, and trying to further the medium of cartoons and animation.
Again this isn't about my carrer, i have a great job.

Mr In betweeny. I have heard plenty upon PLENTY of stories from many many many different artists about John being a total asshole. I have also seen some of it myself. The man is a sociopath, he somehow never learned the correct way of socially interacting and dealing with others. It is almost a handicap, and on top of this handicap he has a million other handicaps in the form of gross character defects including an extreme level of immaturity (the dude is not even close to being an adult), insecurity, jealousy, paranoia, vindictiveness, egomania, being a sick pervert.
It is noble that he put money towards training artists, but dude, that's not because he's a "nice" or "decent" guy. It's because he wanted his cartoon show to be the very best that it could be (as any creator would). So, he wanted his artists, working on his cartoon, to be the very best that they could be, in order to make Ren & Stimpy the very best it could be. Get it?
Basically it was for his own benefit/Ren & Stimpy's benefit, which happened to also benefit the artists since they were learning and getting better.
The dude is a manipulative, evil ring leader. Don't be so easily persuaded by Vincent's tales of Saint Johnathon, The Sweet and Compassionate. It just aint the case.
I only wish that Ryan would have given me the complete story right away, rather than giving it to me in drips and drabs. Making me guess what happened. I think had I been given the full story upfront we wouldn't have had nearly the dust up we had.

Ryan I agreed when I heard your whole story, that he was an asshole in the way he treated you and David.
Thing is I can't name a single show creator/runner that doesn't have a plethora of horror stories about them.
Ask any of the people that I know, that worked for John, and I don't think they'd go back and change it. They all walked away with more than they arrived with.
Sure John wanted a better cartoon. But it was already popular, and most bosses would have happily pocketed the money and let us (the crew) deal with the two to four months down time on their own.

Before John, the world was all scripts all the time. The cartoonist had very little if no say in the final product.
Every artist was a just paid wrist. Nobody let cartoonists write and gag stories.
To be fair, I did just think of a show runner that I have never heard a negative story about in relation to running a show. That person is Dave Feiss and good on him. We need more like him.
But I don't think anyone would have looked twice to purchase Cow and Chicken if the road hadn't been opened for creator / board driven shows by John with Ren and Stimpy.
None of the suits at the time could even imagine that style of show being popular.

I have read some pretty negative stuff about him, unfortunately your description matches the accounts ive read about him, for example humiliating people, and yelling at people for no reason (this reading accounts on animator's message boards from people who have worked with him).I was inclined to believe what Vincent said because he had worked with him for a long time and he is in his 40s and you would think when someone gets to that age they wouldn't bullshit themselves anymore about things as extreme as that, but I guess there are a lot of ass-kissers in Hollywood and low people in the world in general.It would explain why he got so viciously angry at the post, and explains why he always kisses ass on DVD commentaries/extras.Damn!, thats a shame,I liked that Ren and Stimpy show.

So. You are still married and in love with your fantasy dreamland scenario of me picking on Kali. If you noticed, not one person agreed with that scenario on my John/dvd comic post. Or maybe that pitiful Jorge kid did but I'm not counting spineless worm fanboys.
FACT:
TWO of the Johnk drawings mention or depict Kali.
Drawing #1
Kali and John. Yes, Kali is there, in the drawing with John. The MESSAGE of the drawing was that John dates super young girls even though he is a grandpa. Kali was not insulted in the drawing, nor was her name even mentioned. You know why? Because it didn't even matter who 'said girl' was. It wasn't important. The important part was showing John with someone really young. It could have been any young girl. But the current young girl is Kali so that's who is in the picture. Next year he will be with a different young girl, and all of your false Kali defending will have been for nothing.
And for the drawing itself. Kali looks like Kali. She looks normal. I didn't go all hog-wild drawing her with crazy teeth or a big nose or anything like that. There isn't even a hint of caricature on her part. WHY? Because I have nothing against her and the POINT, again, was to show a young girl with an old man. Which is why *John* is caricatured (NOT Kali) to look SUPER old. To get the message across that "John is a creepy old man who dates really young girls."
Can you argue with me just how that drawing is at all malicious towards Kali? And her simply BEING in it, looking normal, is *not* a reason, as much as you would like it to be. So let's hear it.

Ok so here she isn't even depicted, but her name is mentioned. Her name is mentioned in the PROLOGUE drawing ALONE. The next 6 pages have NOTHING TO DO WITH HER.
So, in the prologue drawing we see the Average Joe customer reading the back and saying "Who the fuck is Kali Fontecchio?"
Was that wrong of me to depict? Would the Average Joe customer NOT be saying or thinking that to themselves? I bet 40% of the people that buy the dvd don't even know who Jerry Beck is. Are you under the impression that everyone in the world knows who Kali is? No. They don't. The only people that do know who she is (aside from the people in her personal life) are spumco fanboys and some of the blogger community. That's less than 1% of all people buying the Popeye DVDs. So, my educated ESTIMATE would have to be that, yes, the remaining 99% will be saying to themselves, "Who is Kali Fontecchio?"

But I can tell you, as sick as you think it is now, there aren't very many men over forty that wouldn't be happy dating a smart talented girl half their age. Spencer Tracey, Hugh Hefner, Picasso, in fact almost every famous artist you can think of dated younger women. When you get there, you'll see.
