PUMP UP THE JAM

I've noticed that it's now common place for people to use their mobile phones on speaker mode for music. It can get annoying, and not in the 'noise pollution' way as you may think. After all, out in the real world, there's plenty enough noise vying for competition coming from traffic and the occasional roadwork and such. It's more that the tinny speakers makes any music sound quite bad [and worse if it started off as bad]. So even if they are playing your favourite song, you have to concentrate just to hear some semblance of the original. And it's not restricted to a section of the populace nor musical genre nor a generational thing. I had someone pass me the other day, an older gentleman, and he had some sports casting going on. But I'll leave with this thought. Don't be too angry at them, it is, at least, safer for them than headphones blocking out incoming sound.

If this is some M. Night Shyamalan styled twist where it turns out that I've been a victim of some elaborate hoax, I wont be laughing.

That's a lie. He has obvious issues with people bogarting John K's beer.
